APV has joined PASS (Partner Alliance for Safer Schools) as a Tier 1 partner. We are the only distributor in the country who has joined PASS at the Tier 1 level or higher.
As a Tier 1 partner, we are eligible for personalized training on the PASS Guidelines and their Safer Schools Checklist.
Our goal is to spread the message regarding a layered approach to school security as these buildings and campuses continue to become targets for nefarious activity.

Today, AI software can be included in new cameras or added to existing cameras to provide real-time detection and tracking of intruders carrying weapons.
APV has partnered with two suppliers of this type of detection.
Omnilert provides a software add-on that integrates with most of the major manufacturers of security cameras.
Avigilon is a well-known camera manufacturer and has their own weapons detection feature.
Either choice will help protect people and save lives!
