APV adopted the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) in late 2022 as we recognized that taking our company to the next level would require a more structured approach and a coach to guide us along the way.
Eighteen months later, our company has grown nicely, and processes are in place to handle our growth and continue to improve as a company and contributor to the construction industry.
While Doors and Security can seem a bit mundane, we take our role very seriously and fully understand our responsibility in keeping people safe from fire, smoke and intruders.
Our website boldly states, “We Save Lives” and everyone who works at APV includes this sentiment in their personal “Why”.
EOS teaches us that successful companies develop core values that drive their business from the inside out. Our core values are prominently displayed around the office and we are constantly looking for ways to reinforce these values in our daily activities.

Michelle joined APV in March of 2021 in the accounting department. By Summer 2022, APV leadership realized the company needed a full-time Human Resources Manager, so Michelle answered the call!
APV understands employees are our biggest asset and Michelle has worked diligently to improve the benefits package offered to all employees, who we consider family.
A proud Longwood University graduate, Michelle keeps busy by raising three daughters along with her husband and enjoys long walks, cheering for her girls at sporting events, the occasional Pickleball game, and travel.
